Are you still coming in March? Coney Island is a bit dead in the winter … except for New Year’s Day when there’s the Polar Bear swim. There’s so much going on in the summer in Coney Island with the Mermaid Parade and that crazy roller coaster and the freak show. It’s definitely worth seeing in the summer time. Word of caution: leave by sunset as it can get kinda dicey in the after hours.
Aye, I’m flying in on the 13th. CI being ‘a bit dead’ sounds just fine to me. Don’t know if I’ll make it over there though, have got so many Kerouac-related things planned already. But I’m staying in Carroll Gardens so it’s not that far, I may make it after all.
