Perhaps strength looks different than what we’ve been led to believe. Perhaps strength is vulnerability. Perhaps strength is saying “I’m sorry” or asking for help. Perhaps strength is staying home and reading novels in the bathtub and perhaps it’s turning off the computer and taking a walk. Perhaps strength is a prayer. A dream. A Hope.
Finally made it over to the @whitneymuseum to see Jo Hopper’s work. Most of her art has been lost in the annals of history, but her work speaks through time, demanding critical attention.
I blame the Punxsutawney Phil.

Kalo mina! February is for buying yourself flowers, lighting the good candles, adorning our typing fingers with jewels. It’s for hunkering down and doing the work you love.
